Slope forms include:
Convex/waxing slope,
Scarp/cliff, Fall face,
Rectilinear (transport slope),
Concave/Waning slope

Convex is the upper unit where the gradient is fairly steep promoting movements such as soil creep.

Scarp
This is a steep face uncovered by debris & material readily falls over it. Scarps comprise of hard resistant rocks

Rectilinear is where debris from the Convex part or fallen grains from the scarp is transported.
There's no change in gradient.

If debris continually grows and reaches the upper unit the slope slowly begins to flatten (Penck theory)

Concave:
Deposition of materials
Flat
