How will you carry out the survey there. The starting area & finishing area
General assumptions of the area (Hypothesis). Maybe it's a dangerous or risky place so you may need an escort
*Preparation*
-Tools for the survey, maps, pencils, compasses etc
-clothing
For the mapping you may:
-Setting up a starting area
-Marking the area (bounds) of your map.
-Map Keys
-Setting up a map scale e.g 1cm:5000m (1cm represents 5000m on ground)
-Set up recording stations.
-Set up contour line intervals for relief features like valleys, hills etc.
